The Allen-Bradley 2097-V34PR5-LM is a Kinetix 350 Single-axis EtherNet/IP Servo Drive. It is supplied with 400 to 480 Volts AC three-phase at 50 to 60 Hertz voltage (320 to 528 Volts RMS). It is intended to drive single motors with 2kW and 5.7 Amperes ratings. The integration of an EMC line filter is not provided for this device. This module is engineered to work on a network, to provide motion scalability, and to make integration simple. It is mainly used with the CompactLogix family of PLCs to support Integrated Motion on EtherNet/IP network. This drive is armed with an embedded safe torque off function.

The Allen-Bradley 2097-V34PR5-LM makes commissioning easy. If using Allen-Bradley’s motors from MP-Series and TL-Series, it will automatically identify them on the network. This drive can be used with regenerative applications because you can connect shunt resistors to it. Status indicators are presented for a quick glance at the drive’s working condition. These indicators are network, axis, and module indicators. The Allen-Bradley 2097-V34PR5-LM is an economical device and it also requires a smaller amount of space in a cabinet. The drive control back-up input voltage range is 20-26 VDC with nominal input current of 500 mA and max. inrush of 30 A. The output characteristics of the 2097-V34PR5-LM include Continuous output current (rms) of 4.0 A, Continuous output current (0-pk) of 5.7 A, Peak output current (rms) of 12.0 A, Peak output current (0-pk) of 17.0 A along an output power of 2.00 kW. This drive has a bus overvoltage capacity of 850VDC and short-circuit current rating of 100,000 A (rms) symmetrical.

For UL Applications, appropriate fuse is KTK-R-10 (10 A), miniature circuit breaker 1489-A3C100, and motor protection CB 140M-C2E-C10. For IEC or non-UL application, appropriate fuse is DIN gG Fuses is 10 A, maximum, 1492-SP3D100 miniature circuit breaker and 140M-C2E-C10 Motor protection CB. In addition, appropriate AC coil contactor is 100-C12x10 and DC coil contactor is 100-C12Zx10. For control input power, recommended transformer is 460V AC input voltage, 750VA with output voltage of 120-240V AC.
