The Allen-Bradley 22A-A3P6N103 is an adjustable frequency AC drive that is part of the PowerFlex 4 product family. This is a compact electronic device that supports mounting to a DIN rail or directly to an enclosure’s subpanel.
Adjustable Frequency AC drives such as the 22A-A3P6N103 is primarily used to control the speed of an AC motor. This is required by many applications nowadays as discrete ON/OFF control are not always suitable for efficiently control certain processes. However, the 22A-A3P6N103 is not limited to speed control alone as it also features start-up, runtime and shutdown protection / sequences to the connected motor. With these, motor operation is protected from unwanted electrical inrush and surges and contributes to energy savings.
The 22A-A3P6N103 is operated by supplying a 1-Phase, 180 - 265 VAC Voltage range to its input terminals. It delivers output parameters such as output voltage range of 0-230VAC, 3-Phase, output current rating of 3.6 Amperes and output Power of 0.75 kW or 1.0 HP. This drive also does not come with integrated AC filter and dynamic Brake.
The RS485 interface also allows the drive to be connected in daisy chain topology wherein up to 31 drives may be connected in a single RS485 bus.
Embedded I/O interfaces of the 22A-A3P6N103 include Three (3) Fixed inputs,Two (2) Fully Programmable inputs, One (1) unipolar analog input and Two (2) Relay outputs and One (1) Analog inputs channel.
