The 22B-D017N104 drive is an adjustable frequency AC drive from the compact PowerFlex40 series of AC drives manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This powerful AC drive features a human interface module (HIM), a fixed digital keypad, an LCD, and Essential RS-485 communications with the options of using the DeviceNet, ControlNet, Ethernet/IP, BACnet, and LonWorks communication adapter.

The output current ratings of the 22B-D017N104 drive are 17.0 Amps at 380-480 Volts AC +/-10%. The output voltages of the 22B-D017N104 are 342 to 528 Volts AC and the drive has 10 Horsepower (7.5 kW) power ratings. In the event of an overvoltage, a trip occurs at 810 Volts DC bus voltage (575 Volts AC incoming line voltage) and in the case of an under voltage scenario, a trip occurs at 390 Volts DC bus voltage (275 Volts AC incoming line).

Furthermore, the ambient operating temperature range of the 22B-D017N104 drive is 10-50 degrees Celsius or 14-122 degrees Fahrenheit with panel mounting and an open IP20 NEMA/UL enclosure. The storage temperature range for the drive is 40-85 degrees Celsius or 40-185 degrees Fahrenheit. The PowerFlex 40 drives, including the 22B-D017N104 is a Sensorless Vector Control Drive that exhibits excellent speed control, capable of providing varying output torque as well as high-starting Torque, ideally used not only for general purpose applications but for lifting and similar applications. This drive is also capable of PID control algorithm, making it a controller itself. It has an integral IGBT brake and a fixed keypad with LCD readout used for local monitoring, control and configuration of the drive.

The 22B-D017N104 has Three (3) Fixed and Four (4) Fully programmable discrete inputs, One (1) Normally Open (N.O.) / Normally Closed (N.C.) contact and Two (2) discrete / Optocoupler outputs. It also has Two (2) unipolar analog inputs that accept 0-10VDC / 4-20mA and One (1) bipolar analog input that may receive +/- 0-10VDC. It has One (1) Analog output that is capable of 0-10VDC or 4-20mA electrical signals.

The 22B-D017N104 is also provided with an RS485 communication interface that allows the drive to be connected in daisy chain topology along with other drives in the network, not exceeding 32 per segment using a Two (2) conductor cable.
