The 22D-D2P3N104 is a PowerFlex 40P adjustable Frequency AC drive. This drive is used mainly to provide a simplified method of controlling an AC motor. This drive may be used to implement basic motor control commands such as STAR / STOP / JOG / FORWARD / REVERSE as well as frequency adjustment for speed control. This drive also has a programmable start-up and shutdown characteristic enabling the connected motor to safely and efficiently operate during the mentioned states. Similarly, it control the connected AC motor using a variety of configurable control methods such as V/Hz Motor Control and Sensorless Vector Control (SVC).

The 22D-D2P3N104 can be configured in a variety of ways. The embedded Human Interface Module (HIM) may be used to locally configure, operate, and monitor the drive. The embedded RS485 communication may also be used to remotely configure the drive as it allows multi-drop connection of up to 31 drives. Through this communication port, drive configuration may be downloaded, uploaded and perform other functions such as parameter comparison.

The 22D-D2P3N104 has I/O terminals where external I/O devices may be terminated. I/O channels included are Seven (7) discrete inputs, Two (2) of which are dedicated for Start and Stop while Five (5) are fully programmable inputs; Analog input used for speed reference such as of 0 to 10V or 4 to 20 mA; External potentiometer terminal for wiring of 1-10k ohms potentiometer; One (1) programmable Form C outputs and Two (2) optocoupler outputs; One (1) Analog output that transmits 0-10VDC or 4-20mA signal.

The 22D-D2P3N104 drive has a voltage rating of 380-480VAC, 3-phase with output power rating of 0.75 kW or 1.0 HP for normal and 11.0 kW or 15.0 HP for heavy-duty operation and output Current of 2.3 Amperes.

The 22D-D2P3N104 PowerFlex 40P AC drive has an input voltage of 480V AC 3-phase. Its rating is 2.3 A, 0.75 kW and 1.0 Hp. With Frame Size B, it can be panel-mounted within an IP20 open enclosure for protection against dust up to 12mm in diameter. For added flexibility and protection, DIN rail mounting and an IP30 enclosure is also possible with this device. The 22D-D2P3N104 has a 4-digit LED display with 10 additional indicators and a reset button intended for fault reset. With RS-485 communication port, it can be programmed from a computer and used in a multi-drop network configuration. Additionally, connectivity to any controller with a serial converter module via the DF1 port is supported by the drive. The 22D-D2P3N104 drive features a removable MOV, relay pre-charge, integral brake resistor, DIP switch, robust overload protection, and adjustable PWM frequency for optimized performance. The zero-stacking feature allows for minimal spacing between drives at an ambient temperature of up to 50 deg. Celsius. The 22D-D2P3N104 has enhanced application control performance with V/Hz motor control, sensorless vector control, Integral PID function, and position control regulator mode.
