The 1769-L24ER-QB1B Series A CompactLogix 5370-L2 processor is a high-performance processor from Allen-Bradley that is built to provide scalable control solutions that meet the demands of a wide range of industrial applications. This controller can handle advanced hardware options through its USB port, communication through its Ethernet port and DeviceNet communication through a scanner module, and simplified programming capability through the RSLogix 5000 software or the Logix Designer application software that meets the control demands of even the most demanding applications. The 1769-L24ER-QB1B Series A processor supports up to 32 processor tasks (continuous and periodical) and a maximum of 100 programs per task. This processor requires an external power supply that can be connected to 24 Volts DC input voltage, and it has a maximum current draw of 0.95 Amps at 24 Volts DC. The 1769-L24ER-QB1B Series A processor supports a maximum of 256 controller connections and up to 32 socket interface connections. The Series A processors including the 1769-L24ER-QB1B processor have 16 embedded digital input and output points, and they support a maximum of four 1769 CompactLogix local I/O expansions. 

The Allen-Bradley 1769-L24ER-QB1B Series A processor comes with a factory-installed 1 GB memory card (the Allen-Bradley 1784-SD1 SD card) for the long-term storage of applications and projects and downloading and uploading application data. The 1769-L24ER-QB1B Series A processor has 1 Type B device USB 2.0 port that is used for connection to a computer for download programming and firmware updates only. The 1769-L24ER-QB1B Series A processor has dual RJ-45 supported Ethernet/IP ports which support the Device Level Ring (DLR), Linear, and Star topographies. This port provides the operators with the ability to monitor, control, configure, and access operation data in real-time over the Ethernet/IP network. A DeviceNet port is also available on this device, and this port provides the processor with device-level communication with DeviceNet-supported devices over the network by using the Allen-Bradley 1769-SDN DeviceNet scanner.
