The Allen-Bradley 1769-OF2 Series B analog output module has 2 single-ended channels that are analog output channels. These channels can both be configured individually for use as either current or voltage output channels. The 1769-OF2 Series B analog output module comes with many physical features that include upper and lower DIN rail latches for mounting on a DIN rail, a write-on label that the users can write custom labels on, a bus level that can be locked, status LEDs, a removable terminal block (RTB), upper and lower tongue and groove slots, a moveable bus connector that has female pins, and a stationary bus connector that has male pins. These features make customizing the 1769-OF2 Series B analog output module and connecting it to other machines easy.

The Allen-Bradley 1769-OF2 Series B analog output module never needs to be field calibrated because its design guarantees that it will come to the users completely calibrated for installation and use. This Series B analog output module draws 120 milliamps of maximum current at 5 Volts DC voltage and it also draws 120 milliamps of maximum current at 24 Volts DC voltage. This makes the Series B version of the 1769-OF2 analog output module different than the Series A version, which does not draw any current at 24 Volts DC voltage. The power supply for this analog input module has a maximum distance rating of 8 modules, which means that the power supply can never be more than 8 modules away from the analog input module or the power connection will be erratic or weak or a connection may be completely impossible.
