The Allen-Bradley 5094-CE30 Interconnect Cable is an accessory that is used with the FLEX 5000 I/O modules. The cable separates a FLEX 5000 I/O system into 2 banks of modules. It supplies system-side power to the FLEX 5000 I/O modules. It offers a high-speed transfer of data to the Ethernet/IP network between the Logix 5000 controller and FLEX 5000 I/O modules in an industrial system. The cable should be mounted in a proper certified enclosure as per the ATEX/IECEx Zone 2 standards. It also has a corrosion resistance classification in accordance with the ISA S71.04 G3 standards andit  is intended for use in an environment with a pollution rating that does not exceed a pollution degree of 2. The cable has a maximum backplane power rating of 1.8 Amps at 15 Volts DC.

The Allen-Bradley 5094-CE30 Interconnect Cable has been tested for operating cold and it has met the requirements of the IEC60068-2-1 standards for Test Ad. It has also been tested for operating in dry heat according to the IEC60068-2-2 standards for Test Bd and it has been tested for operating with thermal shock in accordance with the IEC60068-2-14 standards for Test Nb. The 5094-CE30 cable has an operating temperature range from -40 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 to 70 degrees Celsius) and a storage temperature range from -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 to 85 degrees Celsius). In addition, it has a maximum surrounding air temperature rating of 158 degrees Fahrenheit (70 degrees Celsius). It meets the T4 temperature code for the IECEx, ATEX , and North American temperature codes. The cable has a length of up to 3 meters (10 feet) and an approximate weight of 933 grams (32.9 ounces).
