The Allen-Bradley 5094-RTB3S removable terminal block is designed for the Flex 5000 I/O system. The 5094-RTB3S removable terminal block together with a mounting base like the 5094-MB and 5094-MBXT makes up the complete I/O terminal base assembly. The 5094-RTB3S removable terminal block provides a mounting base for I/O modules as well a simplified and convenient means for field-side wiring. All I/O modules require a terminal base assembly for mounting and fast field-side wiring. The terminal base assembly supports DIN rail mounting, and it can be mounted on either a zinc-plated or chromate-coated steel DIN rail. The 5094-RTB3S removable terminal block has a spring-type I/O terminal on the front side for the I/O wiring, commons connections, backplane power, and user supply power connections. These terminals are made with 0.34 x 1.5 millimeters square solid copper wire with 1.2-millimeter average insulation thickness.
The 5094-RTB3S removable terminal block has a maximum current rating of 2.0 Amps per channel and a maximum pass-through current rating of 10 Amps for the sensor actuator. This terminal block has an 18 to 32 Volts DC acceptable voltage range and a nominal voltage rating of 32 Volts DC. The 5094-RTB3S removable terminal block, unlike many removable terminal blocks that are non-isolated in its series, does not have built-in channel-to-channel isolation but it has a basic 250 Volts AC isolation rating between the channels and chassis and between the chassis and sensor actuator. The module can be set up by using the front-panel key switches, and there is a rear-end shield bar for wiring shields to analog I/O and high-speed counter modules. The 5094-RTB3S removable terminal block has a T4 rated temperature code and an operating temperature range of -40 to 70 degrees Celsius.
