The Allen-Bradley 5094-RTB3TXT Flex 5000 Removable Terminal Block (RTB) is a CJC terminal block with screw-type terminals. This RTB belongs to the Flex 5000 terminal base assembly product line. A complete terminal base assembly comprises a mounting base like the 5094-MB or the 5094-MBXT mounting base and an RTB like the 5094-RTB3TXT Removable Terminal Block. Each part must be ordered individually. The Flex 5000 I/O modules require a terminal base for installation and for connecting the field-side wiring. The 5094-RTB3TXT Removable Terminal Block has a built-in Cold Junction Compensation (CJC) thermistor which provides cold junction compensation for installed Flex 5000 Thermocouple modules. On the front view of the 5094-RTB3TXT Removable Terminal Block are key switches used for setting the module position, and there is also an I/O module guide rail and an edge connector for proper module installation.

The 5094-RTB3TXT Removable Terminal Block is built for extreme and harsh environmental conditions and it has an open style design that fits into industrial enclosures. The 5094-RTB3TXT Removable Terminal Block has a -40 to 70 degrees Celsius rated operating temperature range and it is designed for use within a 5 to 85% non-condensing relative humidity range.
