Input resistance properties are significant for application reliability—voltage terminal input resistance exceeds 10 Megaohms, while current terminals present less than 100 Ohms resistance. With respect to overload protection, the 1794-IF4I supports a maximum voltage overload of 30 volts for a single channel and can handle up to 32 mA continuous for current load without damage.
