Allen Bradley Micro 820

The Micro 820 series is a programmable logic controller device series designed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This Allen-Bradley manufactured series is available in different models and some variants have removable terminal blocks for easier wiring and installation processes. Also, the Micro 820 series controllers are available in different enclosure options with different power input rating. These devices are equipped with a microSD card slot for program transfer, datalog, and recipe logging. They have built-in real-time clocks and they require no additional batteries. The Micro 820 series controllers come with embedded I/O. They can accommodate 2 plug-in modules and any 24 Volts DC output power supply. The 820 controllers have status indicators, option power supply slots, removable terminal blocks, and 40-pin high-speed plug-in connectors. The controllers are optimized for standalone machine projects and remote automation projects. It comes with 5 KHz PWM of output for controlling solenoids and valves. The 820 controllers can be programmed by using the Connected Components Workbench software. This software comes with 10K steps program steps for instructions. The controller supports both 32-bit and 64-bit floating-point math.

The Micro 820 series is equipped with the Ethernet/IP network for RTU applications and HMI connectivity or programming via the Workbench software. It can support up to 4 embedded thermistor temperature inputs. The 820 series controllers support communication by using the embedded RS-232 and RS-485 ports and they follow the CIP. They support different communication protocols like Modbus, ASCII, and DHCP. The Micro 820 series controllers come with 2 components for security.
