The 1761-L10BWA Series D controllers are 1000 Programmable logic controllers from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. They allow the users to access, monitor, and program devices from any Ethernet connection. They support on-line editing. The controllers are equipped with isolated RS-485 and RS-232 ports for serial and networked communication. They are compatible with other Allen-Bradley products. The 1761 series controllers have unit I/O counts of 10. The input signal of the controllers is 24 Volts DC. The 1761-L10BWA Series D controllers use 1 K EEPROM to store instruction words and data words. The power supply voltage of the controllers ranges from 85 to 264 Volts AC when operated at a frequency of 47 to 63 Hertz. The terminal screw torque of the logic is 0.9 N-m maximum. The controllers have isolation ratings of 1500 Volts AC. They use 16-bit signed integers. The input voltage impedance of the controllers is 210 kilohms and the input current impedance is 160 ohms.
The 1761-L10BWA Series D controllers do not require high inrush currents. There are high levels of inrush current when large capacitors on the input of the Micrologix controllers are charged up quickly. The controllers are cooled by using the convection cooling method and keeping the temperature within the specified temperature range. For higher temperatures, additional cooling provisions are necessary. The controllers should be placed in non-corrosive environments that are free from dust and dirt. The controllers should be kept away from electrical noise because it affects the input signal. The 1761-L10BWA Series D controllers come with different addressing modes. They come with immediate addressing, direct addressing, and indexed direct addressing.
