The 1761-L10BWA Series E controllers are Micrologix devices designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley. They are used for control purposes in modern industries. The Micrologix 1000 controllers are microprocessor-enabled devices with power supplies and I/O circuits. The controllers feature 10-unit I/O counts which run with a signal voltage of 240 Volts DC. The 1761-L10BWA Series E controllers are enabled with relay outputs and come with rated power supplies of 120 to 240 Volts AC. The logic controllers use status LEDs to indicate different system alerts for the Power, Run, Fault, and Force modes. They also come with Input LEDs that show input activity in the controllers. The controllers are equipped with master control relays which provides a reliable means for emergency controller shutdown. The master control relay allows for the installation of several emergency stop-switches in different locations. The overtravel limit switches are wired in series.
The 1761-L10BWA Series E controllers’ emergency stop switches are used to stop the controllers immediately. They also come with overtravel limit switches. The operation of either of these 2 contacts will remove power from the external I/O circuits which help in stopping machine motion. The Logix controllers have been designed to meet the council directive 89/336/EEC electromagnetic compatibility standard and other emission standards. The 1761-L10BWA Series E controllers come with surge suppression units. They help to prolong the life of the switch contacts. They also reduce the effects of voltage transients that are caused by interrupting the current to the inductive devices. This prevents electrical noise from radiating into the system wiring. During installation, the main power should be disconnected and the devices should be properly earthed. The installation should be carried out in a clean and dry location.
