The 1762-L40AWA is a MicroLogix 1200 controller. This is an Allen-Bradly Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) that is designed with embedded input and output channels as well as communication and programming port.
The 1762-L40AWA is also provided with Two (2) Trim Potentiometers that may be used for simulating internal registers or as local control of process variables. These trim potentiometers are located on the controller’s front panel that may be adjusted using a precision screw driver.
The 1762-L40AWA has One (1) communication port in the form of 8 pin mini-DIN physical interface. This communication port supports DF1, serial DH485, ASCII and MODBUS Master / Slave protocol. This port may be used to download and upload user program, interface with Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
