The 1772-LX Series D processor is an Allen-Bradley PLC 5 mini-processor featuring a backplane current requirement of 1.25 Amps at 5 Volts DC voltage. The unit features current ratings of 0.8 and 0.4 Amps at frequency ratings of 50 and 60 Hertz, respectively. The output rating is 4 Amps at 5 Volts DC voltage while the typical application voltage range is from 10 to 32 Volts DC voltage. The unit features a conformal coating, and it comes with on-line data exchange and on-line programming. The unit features a selectable timed interrupt rating and it comes with the Data Highway interface for assisting in report generation. The other incorporated features include the selectable timed interrupt rating to enable a recurring subroutine. It also comes with the self-contained lithium battery for memory with full I/O force while using the 2-slot addressing.

The 1772-LX Series D processor performs the program scanning and the output image table functions. To ensure easy monitoring, the 1772-LX Series D processor features LED indicators, allowing the users to set the processor power supply parallel with another power supply in the I/O chassis.
