The 1745-LP151 by Allen-Bradley is part of the SLC 150 series of programmable controller units. The part features 12 output terminals and 20 input terminals with a power range of 85-132V AC and CMOS RAM. With a high-speed input (HSI) module, this Allen-Bradley SLC 150 processor unit is capable of counting high-speed input signals at rates of up to 5kHz. With up to 4 high-speed input devices, each connected unit can be counted. The input voltage levels and the filter delay times are selectable on the module via the dip switches. Other features of the 1745-LP151 include a voltage range of 85-132/170-265V AC at 50-60 Hz. Its I/O are twenty 85-132V AC sinking inputs, ten 85-265V AC TRIAC outputs, and two 10-250V AC (10-125V DC) hard contact relay outputs. The 1745-LP151 unit contains 2 backups: an optional battery backup and a standard capacitor backup. The user memory size of 1200 words has the vibration of 0.015-inch peak to peak displacement is 2.5g peak acceleration on 1Hr/axis. The 1745-LP151’s operating temperature range runs from 32-140°F and the storage temperature runs from -40-185°F. The 1745-LP151 expansion unit can connect to the processor unit and to other expansion units through the ribbon cable. Additional extensions can be made to increase the number of the I/O of the PLC up to 112.

The embedded power supply of this PLC accepts an input supply voltage of 85-132 Volts AC / 170-265 Volts AC; 50/60 Hertz. The embedded Input and output channels are composed of twenty (20) 85-132 Volt AC inputs; ten (10) 85-265 Volt AC Triac outputs, and two (2) relay outputs. Should the embedded I/O be insufficient for the intended control system, expansion modules may be installed to increase the capacity and enhance the performance of the module. Options expansion units available are Basic expansion unit, Relay output expansion unit, Analog input expansion unit, High Speed input module, and other modules.

This PLC is provided with status LED indicators such as DC POWER LED; CPU FAULT LED; BATTERY LOW LED; and FORCED I/O LED. It also comes with an input power fuse compartment AC line input protection. This fuse is field replaceable.
