The Allen-Bradley 1746-P1 Series A SLC 500 power supply module is an AC power supply module in the SLC 500 modular hardware system that is built to provide backplane power to all the modular hardware connected to a single Allen-Bradley 1746 I/O chassis. This left-side chassis-mounted module is an integral component of the SLC 500 control system, and it is designed to handle only 1 chassis at a time. The 1746-P1 Series A power supply module provides 85 to 132 Volt AC and 170 to 265 Volt AC line voltage ranges to accommodate a wide range of applications. It has a standard current capacity of 2 Amps at 5 Volts DC and of 0.46 Amps at 24 Volts DC. It has a maximum line power requirement of 135 Volt-Amps. All Series A power supply modules like the 1746-P1 Series A module have fused line input for fire protection in a short-circuit situation.

The 1746-P1 Series A power supply module comes with the factory-installed 1746-F1 line fuse, and other equivalent fuses (250 Volts, 3 Amps fuse, Nagasawa ULCS-61ML-3, or BUSSMAN AGC 3 fuses) can be field-installed, depending on circuit requirements (circuit size). The 1746-P1 Series A module has a 24 Volts DC user power capability, and it can supply 200 milliamps and 18 to 30 Volts DC power. It has a maximum user-supplied overcurrent protection rating of 15 Amps and an overall isolation protection rating of up to 1800 Volts. The 1746-P1 Series A module is designed to withstand up to 20 milliseconds of power loss at a full load and 3000 milliseconds at zero loads. The 1746-P1 Series A power supply module is designed for use within a 0 to 60 degrees Celsius ambient temperature range, and it is UL, CE, and C-TICK certified.
