The Allen-Bradley 2711P-RP2 Series G PanelView Plus Logic module is a standard Logic module for the PanelView Plus 700 to 1500 standard terminals. This module is an integral part of any base-configured PanelView 700 to 1500 terminal and it comes with an internal Compact Flash memory that contains the FactoryTalk View Machine Edition software and 128 MB of flash/RAM. The 2711P-RP2 Series G Logic module has a non-isolated DC terminal with an input range of 18 to 32 Volts DC (24 Volts DC nominal) and a total power rating of 70 Watts at 2.7 Amps and 24 Volts DC input rating. The 2711P-RP2 Series G Logic module has a battery-backed internal clock with timestamps for critical data. It comes with 128 MB of SDRAM and flash memory for the application runtime process and for the long-term storage of application data. It has an SD card slot that supports PanelView Plus and PanelView Plus CE Type I CompactFlash cards for the transfer of files and firmware upgrades.

The 2711P-RP2 Series G Logic module comes with 2 USB device ports for connecting to a printer, keyboard, and mouse. It comes pre-loaded with the FactoryTalk View Machine Edition Software Version 4.0 for simplified and enhanced application development. The 2711P-RP2 Series G Logic module comes with a multi-purpose standard RS-232 serial port that supports DH-485 communication via a serial link, DF1 full-duplex communication with an SLC 500 or ControlLogix 1000 controllers via direct connection or a modem, application uploading and downloading, printing, and third-party point-to-point communication.  The 2711P-RP2 Series G Logic module also comes with a 10/100 integral Ethernet communication port (RJ45) for high-speed TCP/IP communication and for real-time access to the operation data.
