The Allen Bradley 2711P-RP2K standard logic module for PanelView Plus terminals by Rockwell Automation is compatible with PanelView Plus 700 and 1500 series. This module is coated with the conformal coating and it has a 128 megabytes of flash memory and 128 megabytes of working RAM memory. The 2711P-RP2K module is powered by a DC power source and it features an Ethernet port, two (2) USB ports, serial port, and a slot for Compact Flash cards for transferring data and field upgrades. This conformal-coated logic module with the product code 2711P-RP2K can be used with a mouse, keyboard, and other user devices that support connection to a USB port. Besides a standard logic module, this product series also offers a CE version for different requirements of users. The PanelView Plus terminals used in combination with this module 2711P-RP2K module have modular components and various features that are characteristic for these HMI devices. The PanelView Plus terminals have a user-friendly graphic display in color with keypad, touch screen or a combination of both.
The advanced usage of the PanelView Plus products is to use a DH+ link connection, which is one of the strongest capabilities of these devices. The DH+ link can be used to connect the terminal to a system network in order to achieve better control and sharing of information. The terminal can be connected to a DH+ link via Belden 9463 twinaxial or similar cable. The DH+ link can be used for a connection of up to 64 stations. In regard to the PanelView Plus series, their battery life can last up to 4 years when used at the 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit) environment and these terminals are certified as UL Listed Industrial Control Equipment, C-Tick, CE (LVD), CE (EMC) and Marine devices. The PanelView Plus terminals are enclosed in a NEMA type 12/13/4X and IP54/IP65 enclosures and they work in a temperature range of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius (32 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit).
