The 2711P-RW8 is a PanelView Plus CE 512 MB Internal Compact Flash Card manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The 2711P-RW8 has 512 MB of memory capacity and it is the largest card that can be installed on the terminal. This is why users are usually buying it to expand the memory capacity already available on their terminals. This item can be installed in few simple steps. First, power off the terminal, and remove the logic module in which this card is installed (internally). From the back side of the logic module, the internal flash card slot can be easily accessed. Here the 2711P-RW8 card may be inserted. Fasten the card with the retaining clip and power up the terminal.

If the 2711P-RW8 was used to change an old card with less memory, the (.mer) application that was running may be transferred to the new memory card.  Place the old card into the external flash card slot and from the terminal’s configuration mode select copy applications option. Be sure to launch the .mer application afterward and check that the application is running correctly. If any issued come up, it is likely that the file copied from the old compact flash card is corrupt. This item is intended to operate in surroundings with 0 to 55 degrees Celsius (32 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit) temperatures. The product weight is approximately 0.03 kilograms.
