The Allen-Bradley 2711-T5A2L1X PanelView 550 standard terminal is an operator interface device with a touch surface designed to provide a graphical display solution to a wide range of industrial applications. This terminal is designed to provide a complete operator interface solution for enhanced rugged performance in most standalone or networked applications. The 2711-T5A2L1X terminal is DC powered, and it has an operating input voltage range of 18 to 32 Volts DC. It has a maximum power rating of 18 Watts and a continuous current rating of 0.75 Amps at 24 Volts DC. It offers the operators a 5.5-inch-wide flat panel monochrome LCD for a complete graphical display of application information. With a screen resolution of 256 x 128 pixels, the 2711-T5A2L1X terminal becomes the ideal interface display choice for applications with compact and limited space requirements. 

For reduced maintenance and operation costs, the 2711-T5A2L1X terminal and all PanelView 550 standard terminals (except Series H) are fitted with a replaceable LED backlight with 100,000 hours of half-life. The 2711-T5A2L1X terminal comes with a battery-backed real-time internal clock with timestamps for critical data, and it has a 170 KB memory for application run-time data. Data input and control is made through its 128-touch-cell screen which provides function initiation and control via touch command. The 2711-T5A2L1X terminal does not have a standard RS-232 printer port, but it uses its DH-485 communication port for the upload/download of applications. The DH-485 port allows for direct peer-to-peer communication with 1 or more SLC-500 and MicroLogix controllers. The 2711-T5A2L1X terminal has an operating temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius, and it can be used within a non-condensing 5 to 95% relative humidity range.
