The obsolete Allen-Bradley 2711-T5A5 terminal is a member of the Allen-Bradley PanelView 550 series terminal and it features a touchscreen user input, a 5.5-inch monochrome display, and 24 Volts DC input power rating. This module also features an RS-232 port or a DH-485 communication port. This obsolete operator terminal allows the operators to effectively interface with their machinery. The monochrome display it features is an LCD blue mode display. This HMI is flexible as it is capable of allowing the user to establish a connection using the RS-232 (DH-485) communication port and a PanelBuilder 32 software with a 2711-NC13 communication cable. The touchscreen featured in the 2711-T5A5 module can also allow the user to easily input information and commands in the most effective way possible.
This unit features 170 KB of application runtime internal memory. In addition, it also features an internal backlight replacement with the number 2711-NL1. The types of applications which this 2711-T5A5 terminal uses to operate are all custom-designed. The user will notice that the first time the terminal is powered on with no application file loaded, the configuration mode menu will be displayed by the terminal.
