The 2711P-RDB10CM display module from Allen Bradley’s PanelView Plus 1000 line of industrial products is a powerful marine certified device with both touchscreen and keypad functionalities. The 2711P-RDB10CM terminal has a 10.4-inch full-color display and can be enhanced with several optional accessories such as anti-glare protection and special conformal coating. The PanelView Plus 1000 platform supports “.Net” Compact framework feature up to version 1.1 but it is not installed by default. The native file systems of the terminal are FAT16 or FAT32. The terminal has a x86 Intel Celeron CPU running on 650 MHz and can have a minimum of 64 MB and up to 512 MB of RAM, depending on user needs. The terminal use PC100 SDRAM SODIMM type of RAM with 800 MiB/second peak and supports a Real-time clock feature. Besides two (2) USB-A ports (V 1.1) for connecting external devices, the terminal has a CompactFlash (CF) slot of type I and a PCI 3.3/5V 32-bit interface. As standard, the 2711P-RDB10CM terminal has inevitable communication interfaces in Ethernet port with 10/100 Mbps data transfer speed along with DB9 RS-232. Additionally, optional communication modules such as DH+, DH-485, DeviceNet, ControlNet or Remote I/O can be added.
