The Allen-Bradley 2711P-RDT15C Series B touchscreen terminal is a display terminal for the Allen-Bradley PanelView 1500 series terminals. This terminal comes with base-configured PanelView 1500 terminals, or it can be ordered separately with a field-replaceable bezel. This terminal has the same firmware version as other display terminals in its series and it comes with an analog-resistive touchscreen like every PanelView Plus terminal. The 2711P-RDT15C Series B touchscreen terminal is designed to be operated with bare fingers, gloved fingers, or a plastic stylus without damaging the touchscreen, but the use of any material other than these may damage the touchscreen. The 2711P-RDT15C Series B touchscreen terminal offers a 15-inch color active-matrix thin-film transistor LCD. This terminal has display dimensions of 304 x 228 millimeters (12 x 9 inches) and a standard display resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels in 18-bit color graphics.

The 2711P-RDT15C Series B touchscreen terminal offers a standard display brightness of 300 Nits. It comes with 2 field-replaceable backlights with up to 50,000 hours of standby time at dim brightness. The 2711P-RDT15C Series B touchscreen terminal has an 8-wire analog-resistive touchscreen with a 1-million-press actuation rating that allows for the input of data, control, and display of application processes. The 2711P-RDT15C Series B touchscreen terminal can be field-installed easily by disconnecting power from the base configured unit/terminal and detaching the logic module and communication module if there is one. Place the logic module on the new display terminal, making sure that the connectors of both modules align perfectly. Six factory-supplied captive screws are used to tighten the logic module to the display module with a maximum torque rating of 5 to 7 pounds on an inch.
