The Allen-Bradley 15-inch 2711P-RDT15TP graphic display module is made for the Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 6 terminals. A complete PanelView Plus 6 terminal is comprised of a display module, a logic module, and an optional communication module. These components can be ordered separately and a completely assembled terminal can also be ordered from Allen-Bradley. The 2711P-RDT15TP display module is used to display status information and it can also be used for input if touch commands are supported. The logic module houses the CPU, RAM, and internal non-volatile storage. The power connections are also made on the logic module. Additionally, the interfaces for I/O connections including serial, USB, or Ethernet interfaces are also available on the logic module. A CompactFlash card slot is another feature available on the logic module.

Optional communication modules can be ordered depending upon customer requirements. The 2711P-RDT15TP display module is compatible with the 1500 series PanelView Plus 6 terminals and it supports touch-based commands on 8-wire analog-resistive touch technology which is rated for 1 million presses at an operating force of 10 to 110 G. The display technology is a color active-matrix TFT screen with a 12 x 9 inches display size. The supported pixel resolution is 1024 x 768. The display luminance rating is 300 Nits. The display backlight has 50,000 hours of minimum operation life and it is field replaceable. The operating and storage temperature ranges for the 2711P-RDT15TP display module are 32 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit and -13 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit, respectively. The display module should not be installed at altitudes exceeding 2000 meters. The relative humidity level at the location where the display is installed should be maintained between 5 and 95%.
