The current Allen Bradley Panelview 6 Plus 2711P-B15C4D9 is an HMI that allows the user to interact with their machine. This operator interface has a 15 in. Color Display. The user is able to control the operator interface by utilizing the Keypad/Touchscreen to input information and data. This unit is powered using 18-32 VDC power. This unit has an internal memory of 512 MB RAM. The approximate shipping weight and dimensions are 13 lbs. and 20 x 14 x 8 in.
This operator terminal comes with an EtherNet/IP (Ethernet Industrial Protocol) that is an open industrial network that supports real time I/O messaging, as well as message exchange. The Ethernet port connects to a controller on an EtherNet/IP network by using both the network and standard Ethernet connections. This port can work with application transfers and printing as well. The EtherNet/IP screen displays and allows the user to modify some of the EtherNet/IP communication settings for a PanelView terminal. The 2711P-RN20 Ethernet communication module is available for the 700 to 1500 terminals if another Ethernet port is required. The module has its own unique IP address. This port has an RJ45, 10/100Base-T connector for network communication and supports MDI/MDI-X connections. The parameters are downloaded with the application.
With the advanced features, the 2711P-B15C4D9 remains a cost-effective, compact and scalable Human Machine Interface (HMI). It has the largest screen size among the PanelView Plus 6 product family, with the 15-inch colored display screen with resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. For operator interaction, it has 40 fully programmable function keys, including K1-K20 and F1-F20 function keys, numerical, confirmation and navigation buttons. It also has an analog resistive touchscreen that is designed up to 1 million actuations. With the dual input interface options, user has the flexibility to operate the system which also serves as internal redundancy.
