The Allen-Bradley 1394-CCFK is a connector kit drive-end motor feedback. It can connect with 1394–SJTxx or DSM–xxx system modules. This kit comes with 5 items: the connector, 14 pins, 4 pieces of ½-inch-long tubing, the instruction sheet, and an extraction tool. Each part is represented by a different number. Remember to read the manual before installing the 1394-CCFK.
To assemble this connector kit, use an AMP crimp tool. Be sure to prepare this tool before assembly. During assembly, inspect the connections and pin locations for accuracy. If the operators install a pin incorrectly, they should use the extraction tool to remove it. There is also a 4-step way to interpret the fault code number on the 1394-CCFK**.** First, note the decimal number on the screen. Second, convert it to a hex number and then to a binary number. Once the operators have the binary number, they can use the manual to identify and deal with the fault. These steps are necessary during maintenance or if an accident occurs during assembly.
