The 1394-SJT10-C GMC Standard System module that brings IMC S Class Compact Motion Controller and conversion of supplied power. As this module belongs to the Standard category, it supports Four (4) axis and Four (4) auxiliary encoder input.

The module is configured using the Graphical Motion Control Language (GML)application that is installed on a computer workstation. The GML is exclusively used for 1394 GMC (IMC S Class 1394), 1394 GMC Turbo (IMC S Class 1394 Turbo), IMC S Class Compact, IMC S Class Basic IMC S Class Integrated, and 1394L GMC (IMC S Class 1394L).

This system module comes with a pre-installed DH485, RS232 and RS422 communication ports. The Serial communication ports are located at the bottom of the System module and labeled as (CHAN A/J3 and CHAN B/J4). These communication ports are optically isolated and uses 9-Pin, DB-9 connector.

The communication settings are defined by the position of the DIP switches. The CHAN A/port J3 can be configured for RS-232(C) or RS-422 while CHAN B/port J4 may be independently configured RS-232, RS422, or DH-485. It RS422 or DH485 is configured, the port may be set to use a terminating resistor. The default settings of both communication ports are RS232.

The DH485 communication port uses a telephone style cable connector. It has 8 Pins, with pins 3,4 and 8 having no connections, Pin 1 as Data A Transmit, Pin 2 as Data B Transmit, Pin 5 as Transmitted Data Enable, Pin 6 as Data Shield and Pin 7 as signal common. The 1394-SJT10-C servo controller system module is a module with an integrated motion controller that can support 4 axes and 4 channels of auxiliary encoder inputs. The 1394-SJT10-C servo operates with an input voltage 324 to 528 Volts and a 13-Amps input current.
