Mounting the GMC Turbo system by separating low voltage communication connected to the wiring from the high voltage power cable reduces the EMI and RFI level. Due to the wiring of the voltage motor present at the bottom of each axis module, it is recommended to mount the FLEX I/O modules to the left of the system module.

The input wiring boards offer two terminating points at TB1 and TB2 for various control signals. Every system module comes with a terminal operating tool. These tools allow the wires into the terminals.

The 1394C-SJT05 system provides the axis link extended length option for the application of longer axis link cables. This option permits the user to support up to eight nodes for a maximum 125 meters (410 feet) of end to end cable length. The extended length option can be made available by setting the switch located between the Flex I/O and Axis Link connectors on the bottom of the GMC Turbo system module. The extended node option permits support of up to 16 nodes for a maximum end to end cable length of 25 meters.
