The Allen-Bradley 1394SJT05CB is an automation series servo drive that is part of the modular, multi-axis 1394 Digital AC motion control and drive system family. It comes with an IMC S Class integrated motion controller. It can support 4 auxiliary encoder inputs and 4 axes – with each axis interfacing a motor. Choose any combination of AM03 and AM04 modules. AM07 modules can also be included in the combination provided that no more than two of these modules are used.
The 1394SJT05CB servo controller offers interconnections and saves panel space. This direct-line operation system module has a 5 kW power rating and 360 to 480 Volts AC at 50 to 60 Hertz input voltage. It requires no additional isolation transformers or inductors. Its input safety features protect it from ground fault, phase loss, and transient (MOV) voltage. It has a 200W internal shunt resistor with a peak rating of 40,000W. For systems that have regenerative loads exceeding this capacity, external shunt resistor kits are available. The 1394SJT05CB is CE marked, UL certified, and CUL listed – intended for use in an industrial setting. To meet CE requirements, a power line filter must be installed between the 3-phase input line and system module input. The 3-phase wiring should pass through a conduit grounded to the enclosure. Make sure to install the panel on a flat, vertical surface that is free from moisture, dust, corrosive vapors, and vibrations to optimize performance and system life.
