About GHC2025

The Eaton Cutler-Hammer GHC2025 Series C Molded Case Circuit Breaker is a completely assembled 2-pole circuit breaker with load side only terminals, which provides short circuit and overload protection to circuit conductors and connected electrical devices like Motors and Motor Starters. Like all Frame F circuit breakers, it is designed for reverse feed use, and it is also HARC rated. The GHC2025 is designed for application with a maximum line input voltage of 480 Volt AC/25 Volt DC, and it offers a 65 KAIC maximum interrupt rating with 25 Amps nominal line current rating. This breaker consists of a sealed insulated enclosure, a non-adjustable trip unit, line and load side terminals, and a trip free mechanically operated operating mechanism.

The line and load end terminals are made of standard Copper/Aluminium steel, UL rated to meet the breaker’s continuous current rating, and each terminal comes with a terminal cover which protects terminals against wear. The GHC2025’s trip unit is made of fixed thermal and magnetic trip elements, which provide fast-acting thermal trip action, and an instantaneous magnetic trip action. The operating mechanism provides opening and closing breakers contacts, as well as preventing contacts from closing in the event of an abnormal circuit condition, and it also shows whether the breaker is OFF, ON, or Tripped. The GHC2025 is designed to operate below a temperature limit of 40 degree Celsius, and depending on application needs, it can be field calibrated for higher temperature ambiance. The GHC2025 is IEC, CSA, and UL certified, and it has an approximate shipping weight of 0.63 kilograms.
