The Eaton HMDL3800 is an industrial circuit breaker with a molded case and a Type M frame with the NEMA designation. The circuit breaker provides important circuit protection that is necessary for the operation of a system that is totally safe and reliable. The HMDL circuit breaker is a 3-pole variant with an included cable in/cable out and fixed the thermal-magnetic trip unit. This model is assembled as a complete circuit breaker consisting of a frame, trip unit, and terminals. It should be noted that the trip unit of this circuit breaker is interchangeable, which presents an advantage in some applications. The HDML3800 has a high interrupting capacity of 600 Volts AC rating and 65 kAIC of interruption at 480 Volts AC. Besides 600 Volts AC voltage rating, this circuit breaker can also operate on a 250 Volts DC power source. In addition to that, the rated maximum continuous current of the circuit breaker is 800 Amps. The HDML38000 circuit breaker is mounted and installed through a panel. The operating temperature of this device is in 0 to 40 degrees Celsius range and its humidity tolerance is standard for this type and between 5 and 95 % (non-condensing). However, if necessary, the device can be calibrated for special purposes to operate in more drastic temperature ranges.
