About MDL3800

The MDL3800 is a three-pole circuit breaker manufactured by Cutler-Hammer (a division of the Eaton Corporation). It is a general purpose molded case circuit breaker (MCCB). This MCCB includes line and load terminal lugs. The line and load sides are clearly designated with labels on the front side of the device. The MDL3800 is used with applications with a high demand for power. It is an 800 Amps rated MCCB and its breaking capacity is 50 kAIC at 480 Volts AC. The device is applicable to 600 Volts AC or to 250 Volts DC systems.

The thermal-magnetic trip unit integrated into the Cutler-Hammer MDL3800 has separately adjustable thermal and magnetic trips. It also has a button for trip testing.
