The Eaton Cutler-Hammer NGK3080KSE molded case circuit breaker is a Series G, frame NG molded case switch designed to provide accurate and precise system protection in a wide range of industrial applications. The NGK3080KSE circuit breaker, like all Series G circuit breakers, comes up to 35% size reduction compared to conventional circuit breakers, and it features field-installable accessories and a highly advanced trip unit option that eliminates the need for rating plugs. The NGK3080KSE circuit breaker has 800 Amps of current rating, and it is designed for circuit/applications with up to 690 Volts AC operating voltage at 50 to 60 Hertz. It has a 3-pole design with imperial tapped copper/aluminum line and load side conductors as terminals and it is rated 80% efficient at 40 degrees Celsius.

The NGK3080KSE circuit breaker has a high-speed blow-open contact design that uses high-current induced electro-mechanical force to break contact in the event of overcurrent, short circuit, shunt, or under-voltage situations. It has a trip-free operating mechanism (toggle handle) that keeps the contact open in the event of short-circuit or over-current situations, and this toggle handle also serves as a switching position indicator for showing whether the circuit is in the ON, OFF, or TRIPPED position. The NGK3080KSE circuit breaker, like all Frame NG circuit breakers, is rated for Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HACR) applications and reverse feed use. The NGK3080KSE circuit breaker comes with base-mounting hardware for quick and easy file installation, and it also comes with a single handle extension. It has a maximum ambient temperature of 40 degrees Celsius without de-rating and it can be used within a temperature range of -20 to 70 degrees Celsius. The NGK3080KSE circuit breaker weighs approximately 45 pounds, and it has mounting dimensions of 16 x 5.5 x 8.25 inches.
