Like every Series G breakers, the RGC316033E circuit breaker comes with field-installable accessories and a highly advanced electronic trip unit that uses microprocessor-based intelligence to provide RMS true sensing for increased accuracy and reliable system protection. The RGC316033E circuit breaker has a continuous current rating of 1600 Amps, and a maximum interrupting rating of 100 kAIC at 480 Volts AC. It is designed for applications operating at 50 or 60 Hertz, and it is suitable for applications with up to 600 Volts AC line input voltage.

The RGC316033E circuit breaker features a high-speed blow-open action contact design that uses electro-mechanical force produced by high current, and it is operated by a toggle type handle that is designed to be mechanically trip-free.
