The Eaton S811+V42P3S soft starter is a standard duty soft starter whose main function is to provide motor control and protection through the use of different values and specifications that are directly applied to the motor. It has been produced by the Eaton Corporation and distributed under the same brand. This starter possesses a frame with a length of 290 millimeters, it is one of the largest starters of the series, and it comes with a rated current of 420 Amps maximum. This starter has the ability to control motors, specifically the number of loads, the acceleration, and the deceleration. The Eaton S811+V42P3S standard duty soft starter has premium functions and it is a 600 Volts AC rated soft starter. This soft starter operates with 3-phase applications. 

Premium functions of the S811+V42P3S soft starter are level/edge sensing, pump control, an extended ramp, and an inline/inside Delta wiring configuration. These premium options do not come by default on all the soft starters of the series, but on those that have been previously modified to work this way. The Eaton S811+V42P3S standard duty soft starter has 3-poles. It can be installed in an environment that does not have a temperature higher than 70 degrees Celsius. Among the accessories for this starter is a series of fans that are used to improve ventilation. The motor cables need to be kept as short as possible to avoid power loss and these will need to be tightened up periodically since motor vibrations tend to loosen the cables. The motor and starter surfaces tend to get extremely hot so the users need to take precautions around them.
