This module provides microprocessor-based control to apply a soft start or soft stop to motors in applications that may not require 100% of the motor’s starting torque. Programmable startup options are built into the S811+T24N3S soft starter to meet the requirements of a variety of applications. Some of its starting and stopping modes include the voltage ramp start with adjustable torque and adjustable ramp time and the current limit start.
