The Panelmate 92** 92-01702-01 interface terminal is an operator interface terminal designed for industrial control applications. In addition to the terminal itself, the shipment from the manufacturer also contains a cutout drawing. The Panelmate 92** terminals are available in 2 versions: as terminals with touchscreens and terminal with touchpanels. The 92-01702-01 interface terminal comes with a touchscreen display which supports a 640 x 480 resolution. The operators can select graphics images or templates on the touchscreen. Control actions can be performed after a template is selected. The 92-01702-01 interface terminal is approved for use in Type 12, 4X, and 4 installations. The system firmware is stored in the NVRAM and it can be upgraded to enable new and enhanced features to be used. Integrated communication ports include 2 serial ports which support RS-232 and RS-422 communication. The serial ports are optically isolated. Optional communication modules are also available and they can be ordered according to user application requirements.

The 92-01702-01 interface terminal is able to store 5000, 100-page messages. The 92-01702-01 interface terminal supports DH-485 communication through an optional module. Both ends of a DC-485 network must be terminated. The Panelmate 92** terminals come with integrated termination resistors which can be activated if required. The maximum segment length for a DH-485 network is 4000 feet.  The cable type recommended for the DH-485 networks is Belden 9842 cable. Several accessories can be ordered with Panelmate 92** units. These include a 15-foot cable for RS-232 serial communication which can be used for uploads and downloads from a PC, converter connectors for converting an RJ-11 to 9-pin D-shell connector, mounting plates, and collars and overlay kits. The 92-01702-01 interface terminal meets requirements of the CSA, CE, UL, and UL / CSA standards.
