The General Electric (GE) Fanuc Industrial microcomputer with part number IC754VSI06STD is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) device, capable of linking and providing operators with a convenient and centralized monitoring and control workstation within the factory floor. This computer supports flush mounting installation to industrial enclosures rated NEMA 4, 4x and 12 or IP65 equivalent enclosures.

The IC754VSI06STD has a bezel made of Valox 357U with membrane material of Lexan HP60. The enclosure dimension is 4.86 in (126mm) x 6.14 in (158mm) x 2.76 in (70mm) and requires a panel cutout of 4.86” (H) x 6.14” W) while the bezel dimensions are 6.17” (156.7mm ) (H) x 8 in. (203.2mm) (W).

It comes with a variety of communication interfaces such as One (1) RS232 / 422 / 485 combo port used for point-to-point or multi-drop communication. Aside from this, the IC754VSI06STD also supports modern communication protocol through the built-in Ethernet communication port that supports 10/100 Mbps that is capable of auto-negotiation.

It has a 5.7” inch Passive STN transmissive (color) with 65,536 colors along a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. It has a touch sensitive membrane enabling operators interact to the machine or process through directly touching an area of the screen where a runtime object or icon is situated. This input method provides more convenience and contributes to faster operator response time.

The IC754VSI06STD has a configuration and maintenance environment running a Windows CE Operating System. The HMI application that is processed by the IC754VSI06STD must be developed using the Proficy Machine Edition programming software.

The IC754VSI06STD module operates at 24 Volts DC (in a 10.8 to 30 Volts DC voltage range) input and it consumes a maximum of 24 Watts of power. Two LEDs are provided for status information and to aid in troubleshooting: one bi-color LED for power and one tri-color LED which is user-programmable.
