The 1321-3R200-B line reactor is an Allen-Bradley line reactor that is designed to protect AC drives and motors from power line anomalies. It belongs to the Allen-Bradley 1321 product range which includes line reactors, isolation transformers, and reflective wave reduction devices. The 1321-3R200-B line reactor is rated for 200 Amps of fundamental current and 0.11 Millihenry of inductance. This line reactor weighs approximately 24.5 kilograms. The device dimensions are 7.2 x 9.6 x 7.9 inches. Allen-Bradley provides front-facing copper tabs for cable connections on the line reactor. The contact surface area is 1.63 x 1 inches. The hole diameter and thickness measurements are 0.408 inches and 0.125 inches, respectively.

When line reactors such as the 1321-3R200-B line reactor are used at the input to the drive, they help to protect the drive from spikes and surges on the power lines supplying electrical power to the drives. The use of line reactors also leads to reduced harmonic distortion. Furthermore, line reactors eliminate spurious tripping and reduce voltage notching. When line reactors are used between the drive output and connected motor, they help to reduce DV/DT, protect the connected motor from long lead effects, and reduce surge currents. The 1321-3R200-B line reactor is available in an open enclosure with an IP 00 rating. The reactor can sustain 300% of the fundamental current for up to 60 seconds and 200% of the fundamental current for 30 minutes. The maximum voltage which the 1321-3R200-B line reactor can sustain is 690 Volts AC. The insulation system on the line reactor is Class N and it is rated for 200 degrees Celsius. The maximum switching frequency for which the reactor is designed is 20 kilohertz.
