The Allen Bradley 1321-3R80-C line reactor is an 80 Amps rated line reactor. It is part of the 1321 series of power conditioning equipment which also includes isolation transformers, common mode chokes, DC link chokes, and reflective ware reduction (RWR) devices. The 1321 series equipment is designed to protect equipment by absorbing numerous types of power line disturbances. The 1321-3R80-C line reactor can be used both at the output and input sides of AC drives. Line reactors installed at inputs protect the drive against harmonic distortion and random tripping. Line reactors installed at outputs protect motors from surge currents and high temperatures. The 1321-3R80-C line reactor supports 3-phase power lines. Its dimensions are 8.5 x 10.8 x 6.6 inches and it weighs approximately 63 pounds. The power dissipation and inductance of the line reactor are 96 Watts and 0.7 Millihenry, respectively. The inductance tolerance is ±10%.

The 1321-3R80-C line reactor comes with box lugs for cable termination. The respective minimum and maximum cable sizes recommended for use with the line reactors are 10 millimeters square and 50 millimeters square, respectively. Torque in excess of 5.09 N-m should not be used when tightening the cables. The ambient temperature around the IP 00 rated open device enclosure should be kept below 50 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, the installation altitude should not exceed 3280 feet. The 1321-3R80-C line reactor can sustain a temperature rise of 135 degrees Celsius on average. The Class N insulation system on the line reactor is rated for 200 degrees Celsius. The dielectric on the 1321-3R80-C line reactor is rated for 3000 Volts RMS. The fundamental frequency ratings for line and load are 50 and 60 Hertz, respectively.
