The Allen-Bradley 1321-3RB250-C line reactor is a three-phase input/output line reactor which comes with an open style enclosure and flag type terminals. Its fundamental amperage rating is 250 Amps. it has 0.09 mH of inductance with +/-10% tolerance. This line reactor module absorbs power line disturbances such as surges or spikes to protect the host drive from spurious tripping and damage. The module extends the life of the connected equipment by reducing harmonic distortion. The Allen-Bradley 1321-3RB250-C line reactor can be connected to the input or output of the drive. At the input of a drive, it helps to protect the drive from incoming power line disturbances. It extends semiconductor life while improving the true power factor. The load reactor, which is at the output, protects motors from long lead effects. It reduces the motor output voltage (DV/DT), surge current, and motor terminal peak voltage.
The 1321-3RB250-C line reactor can be used between the controller and the motor when more than one motor is controlled by a single drive. Multiple drives on a common power line require one line reactor per controller. Each reactor provides optimum filtering and surge protection for individual units. This line reactor is supplied with a front-facing copper tab for cable connections. Its fundamental frequency for the line and load is 50and 60 Hertz, respectively. The maximum operating ambient temperature is 50 degrees Celsius. The maximum input rated voltage is 600 Volts AC. It has 588 Watts of heat dissipation. Depending on the application, it should be verified that the drive and motors' continuous current ratings are within the fundamental current rating of the 1321-3RB250-C line reactor (250 Amps).
