The Allen-Bradley 1331-AAA drive is an analog single-phase adjustable frequency AC drive, that can work in a frequency range between 0.37 and 1.5 kilowatts at 230 Volts AC, and it is provided with a NEMA Type 1 enclosure (IP 20 enclosure), and an input voltage rating of 208, 220, or 240 Volts AC 1-phase voltage, at 50 to 60 Hertz. It is capable of producing a sine weighted waveform with Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) by using Darlington Power Transistors as switching devices to achieve an efficiency of 90% or greater at the rated output current.

* The Allen Bradley 1331-AAA has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however we specialize in obsolete parts and can likely still supply surplus and/or refurbished replacement 1331-AAA units instead of migration.
The Allen-Bradley 1331-AAA drive is an analog single-phase adjustable frequency AC drive that can work in a frequency range between 0.37 and 1.5 kilowatts at 230 Volts AC, and it is provided with a NEMA Type 1 (IP 20) enclosure, and an input voltage rating of 208, 220, and 240 Volts AC, 1-phase, at 50 to 60 Hertz. It is capable of producing a sine weighted waveform with Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) by using Darlington Power Transistors as switching devices to achieve an efficiency of 90% or greater at the rated output current. There are several settings that can be adjusted in the 1331-AAA drive's mainboard, such as the starting torque with a boost potentiometer at 20 to 35 Volts DC, the acceleration between 1 and 60 seconds, the deceleration between 1 and 60 seconds, the maximum frequency rating, the minimum frequency rating, the meter signal with adjustable frequency meter calibration, and the frequency range with a DIP switch-selectable frequency range from 0 to 50 Hertz, 0 to 60 Hertz, 0 to 100 Hertz, or 0 to 120 Hertz.
The only control inputs required for putting the Allen-Bradley 1331-AAA drive into operation are the run/stop control (in the local panel or supplied by the users), the forward/reverse control (in the local panel or supplied by the users), and the speed control (with a potentiometer in the local panel, with a potentiometer supplied by the users, or with 0 to 10 Volts DC external reference voltage). The installation and wiring processes of the Allen Bradley 1331-AAA AC drive are very simple and they can be performed by any qualified electrician, just by connecting the appropriate wires in the identified terminal block with 6 marked connections ports for the grounding, incoming power wiring, and motor leads.
