1333-BAB

The Allen-Bradley 1333-BAB is an adjustable frequency drive that belongs to Series D of the Bulletin 1333 line of products. It is an AC drive that has a nominal drive rating of 3 Horsepower at 2.2 kW. This 3-phase module has an input line voltage of 380, 415, 460 Volts AC at 50 to 60 Hertz. It is also housed in a NEMA Type 1 (IP20) enclosure that is shipped from the factory. The 1333-BAB drive operates at temperatures between 14 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit (-10 to 50 degrees Celsius) and at a maximum altitude of 3,300 feet without derating.

To operate the drive, these four control inputs must be present: Start, Stop, Auxiliary Interlock, and Speed Reference. There are also optional remote control inputs that may be connected to the drive’s Signal and Control Wiring Terminal Block including the Two or Three-Wire Start/Stop Control, Jog, Forward/Reverse Control, and Three Programmable Preset Speed Select Switches. The Bulletin 1333 drives (including the 1333-BAB) typically require a well-adjusted 3-phase inductive motor load. Application assistance is required for other motor loads. For the general input power conditioning of the drives, they need to be directly connected to an accurate voltage AC power line. If this drive experiences an input power malfunction, an isolation type transformer or a line reactor may be required.
