The Allen-Bradley 1333-FAA Adjustable Frequency AC Drive is a variable frequency drive in the Allen-Bradley 1336 family of reliable and multipurpose drives which provides motor speed control by varying or adjusting the frequency of servo motors. This drive uses the standard volt per hertz control for motor control, and it controls the frequency of motors by using the Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulated signal for efficient speed control. The 1333-FAA has an input voltage rating of 230 Volts AC (3-phase or 1-phase) at 50 to 60 Hertz, with an input tolerance range of -10% to +10%, and it provides over-voltage/under voltage trips of up to 430 Volts DC and 160 Volts DC. The 1333-FAA has input current of 47 Amps with 18.8KVA input power at 3-phase 230 Volts AC nominal input, and 38.0 Amps and an 8.7KVA input rating at 230 Volts AC de-rating single-phase voltage. The 1333-FAA also has an output rating of 45 Amps and 18.1KVA at 3-phase 230 Volts AC input, with 21 Amps and 8.8KVA at de-rating single-phase 230 Volts AC input. The 1333-FAA provides programmable BUS over current rip of up to 200%, and it is designed to ride thru 15 milliseconds of power loss with a robust control ride time of 100 milliseconds. This drive has a frequency output range of 0 to 400 Hertz (programmable), with a selectable 0 to 230 Volts AC output voltage bracket, and a performance range of ± 0.5% of the selected maximum output frequency at –10 to +50 degrees Celsius.

The 1333-FAA has 4 independent acceleration and deceleration times which are programmed independently from 0.1 to 1600 seconds, and it has an accelerated stall protection of 140%, and a deceleration stall protection of up to 380 Volts AC. It has an output boost of 0 to 40% of the maximum output voltage at 1% programmable increments, and it offers a starting torque of 150% with a 20% DC braking torque. The 1333-FAA has a 140% output overload capacity for 1 minute, and it offers protection against ground faults on the output leads. It has analog and digital control inputs, 1 NO contact output configured for basic functions, and 1 analog voltage or current, and it has an integral LCD that displays operation values, helps when configuring the drive, and helps diagnostics.
