The 1201-HA1 module is a programmer and analog speed operator module that has been designed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as an accessory to be used with operator interface devices. The main function of this accessory is to provide programming functions to the human-machine interface, making it able to be programmed by using the necessary tools and at the same time to control the speed of different equipment. This device comes with a NEMA 1 rated enclosure. This enclosure protects the operator connections and wiring against contact with foreign objects or particles. These particles might affect the functioning of this device. The Rockwell Automation 1201-HA1 programmer and analog speed operator module comes with a liquid crystal display, keys, and a potentiometer. This module can be used with different open chassis drives and operator interface devices. It has been designed to be used with SCANport products including the 1305, 1335, 1394, and 1557 drives.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1201-HA1 programmer and analog speed operator module features uploading and downloading capabilities, immediate fault displays, and a fault queue that shows the last 4 faults that occurred during operations. The 1201-HA1 module has been designed to operate in indoor environments and it comes with different functions that help save programming time such as the search parameters function, saving menus for power-up, and several increments or decrement individual parameters to help speed up the typing during programming. As an accessory, it enhances the functions of the main device, providing different and new functions. This device must not be exposed to temperatures higher than 40 degrees Celsius.
