The 1201-HAP module is a human-machine interface module with the programmer-only function. This module has been designed to operate with drives from different Allen-Bradley series. It has been manufactured and designed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This module comes designed with a NEMA type 1 housing that protects it in indoor environments only. Besides being installed in indoor environments, this enclosure protects all the wiring and connections of the module. The maximum operating temperature for this module is 40 degrees Celsius. Also, it needs to have proper ventilation to avoid overheating and in the end to prolong its life. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1201-HAP human-machine interface module provides programming functions to the host drive and the users, enabling them to check the existent data, input new variables, and check a list of the last 4 faults that occurred during operation.
The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1201-HAP human-machine interface module is necessary to perform different functions since this module is a module that contains a SCANPORT. The port is an important feature when it comes to enhancing the functions of the different drives. If there is a fault, the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1201-HAP human-machine interface module will show it immediately so the users can be aware of it and try to fix it as soon as possible to set back the module and the drive into normal operation. There is also a parameter search function along with a function called bit enumeration that helps the users check the description of each bit in a binary parameter. A fault queue is also available.
