The 1336-F1-SP15A is a bus fuse for 1336 PLUS, FORCE, and IMPACT systems. Allen Bradley discontinued its production, and its replacement is the 1336-CONV-SP15A. The Bus Fuse is found on the Main Chassis between the Main Control Mounting Plate and the Base Driver/Power Supply Board. Before replacing the 1336-F1-SP15A, it is important to disconnect the power from the drive first. Failure to disconnect the power can lead to serious injury or even death. A bus charge indicator may be used to determine if there is still bus voltage present. The Terminal Block TB1 can also be used to measure the bus voltage. Ensure that the indicator is turned off before attempting to dismantle the drive in order to replace the bus fuse. It is also important to wear a wrist-type grounding strap when replacing the 1336-F1-SP15A from the drive. This will protect the components of the drive from ESD that can damage the components of the drive.

Before removing any connections, wires, or bus bars from the drive, mark them to their corresponding terminals and connections to avoid improper wiring when reassembling the components of the drive. Once the power is removed from the drive, remove the Base Driver/Power Supply Board; then unfasten the nuts that hold the bus fuse. Remove the Bus Diode from the fuse block bolts as well. Then the user may remove the 1336-F1-SP15A bus fuse and replace it with a new one; simply follow the instructions in reverse to reassemble the components of the drive. It is important to replace all the guards before attaching the power source back to the drive; if these guards are not reattached, series injury or death may occur.
