The 1336-F1-SP1A is a fuse replacement kit for the 1336 series of drives, which are manufactured by Allen Bradley. These are the bus fuses and are now obsolete, having been replaced by the 1336-CONV-SP15A type module. While replacing the fuse, make sure that the contacts are clean and that there is no corrosion on the contacts. Clean contacts are absolutely necessary, as they allow the proper conduction of electricity. The user should clean the contacts if there is dust built up or corrosion, using the cleaning solution recommended by the manufacturer. This fuse replacement kit should be operated at a temperature of 0 to  50 degrees Celsius in a non-condensing humid environment, having humidity between 5 and 95%. Make sure that there is an adequate clearance while installing the drive, and that there is provision for airflow. Use of fans, heat exchangers, or air conditioners to ensure that there is adequate ventilation and that the temperature is maintained is highly recommended.

The 1336-F1-SP1A should be replaced by a trained and qualified personnel only. If the instruction manual is not closely followed, damage may be caused to the equipment or injury caused to personnel. When replacing the 1336-F1-SP1A, follow the safety instructions stated by the manufacturer. When replacing the fuse, ensure that the power to the device is switched OFF and that the cables are disconnected; in addition, ensure that the capacitors are discharged before touching the device, in order to prevent any type of hazard from an electric shock. Use electrostatic discharge straps to prevent static discharge, as the static discharge may damage the board or the drive’s other components.
