The Allen-Bradley 1336-FAN-SP6A fan is a fan with a C-HB1 capacitor that comes in the accessories and spare parts catalog for the Allen-Bradley 1336 Plus, Impact, Force, and Plus II series of variable frequency drives (VFD) that can be used with induction motors and electromechanical motors that require variable speed. This fan has been designed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. Fans are an important part of each of these kinds of devices, especially the ones that are intended to work with different motors. The importance of the fan lies in the fact that it helps the connected device cool down from the heat that is caused by the operation. Another important feature is that it provides the drive with sufficient ventilation.

The Allen-Bradley 1336-FAN-SP6A fan with a C-HB1 capacitor does not have specific conditions that it needs to operate properly. One thing that needs to be taken care of, especially with drives that have an open enclosure, is to avoid dust and solid particles since these can build up on the fan and stop it from working properly. If this fan is affected by solid particles, then the drive may not have enough ventilation to operate properly in front of a motor.  Even if the Allen-Bradley 1336-FAN-SP6A fan with a C-HB1 capacitor is installed and working properly it is recommended to have further ventilation equipment installed next to it that helps the fan to cool the drive down in case the temperature rises above the normal level. Excessive temperatures must be avoided at all costs to reduce wear on the fan and protect the drive from faults produced by overheating. Motors and drives may experience sudden stops in these scenarios, which can cause damage to all of the equipment.
